TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to SwiftEscape Travels & Tours (“SwiftEscape”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By using our services, website, or any affiliated platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using any SwiftEscape service.
SwiftEscape operates as a licensed travel agency offering services including flight booking, hotel reservations, vacation packages, visa support, ground transfers, and loyalty reward programs.

2. Scope of Service

SwiftEscape acts as an intermediary between customers and travel service providers such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators. All bookings are subject to the respective terms of the providers, and SwiftEscape bears no responsibility for changes or cancellations initiated by third-party vendors.

3. Booking and Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made via our website, office, or customer service channels.
  • Full payment or a valid prepaid/postpaid account is required before confirmation.
  • Customers will receive a booking confirmation email or receipt once payment is verified.
  • Prices are subject to availability and may fluctuate due to exchange rates or seasonal demand.

4. Payments

  • We accept payments via bank transfer, debit/credit card, prepaid accounts, and authorized payment partners.
  • Postpaid clients are billed according to agreed credit terms.
  • All payments must be made in Nigerian Naira (₦) or the currency specified at booking.
  • Failure to complete payment within the stipulated time may result in automatic cancellation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing (email or portal).
  • Refunds are processed based on airline/hotel partner policies.
  • SwiftEscape service fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.
  • Refunds (where applicable) are typically processed within 21 working days.
  • “No-show” bookings are not eligible for refunds.

6. Amendments

Customers may request changes to existing bookings. Additional charges from suppliers or SwiftEscape administrative fees may apply.

7. Travel Documents

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure possession of valid travel documents, including passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and permits. SwiftEscape shall not be held liable for denied boarding or travel delays due to incomplete documentation.

8. Liability

SwiftEscape will not be liable for:

  • Delays, cancellations, or service failures caused by third parties.
  • Loss, damage, or injury resulting from travel providers’ actions.
  • Events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, flight disruptions).

9. Loyalty & Promotions

Participation in SwiftEscape Perks (our loyalty program) is subject to separate terms under the Loyalty Program Policy. Promotions, discounts, and referral bonuses are time-limited and may change without notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, arbitration in Lagos.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. General Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. SwiftEscape will process cancellations and refunds in accordance with both our internal guidelines and our suppliers’ policies (airlines, hotels, etc.).

2. Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • Airline/hotel-specific penalties may apply.

3. Refunds

  • Refunds are subject to airline/hotel approval.
  • Non-refundable tickets or “promo fares” are not eligible for refunds.
  • Refunds are processed within 21 working days after receiving confirmation from the service provider.
  • Service fees, insurance, and visa charges are non-refundable.

4. Rescheduling

Customers may request rescheduling prior to travel. Additional fare differences and amendment fees apply.

PAYMENT & ACCOUNT POLICY

1. Prepaid Accounts

Customers can pre-fund their SwiftEscape accounts to save toward future trips.
Funds may be deposited monthly or quarterly and can be used for any SwiftEscape service.

2. Postpaid Accounts

Approved corporate or frequent clients may enjoy postpaid booking privileges, subject to credit evaluation and agreed repayment timelines.

3. Payment Methods

Accepted methods include bank transfer, debit/credit cards, and secure payment gateways.
All transactions are processed in compliance with Nigerian data security standards.

4. Billing Disputes

Any payment disputes must be reported within 7 days of receipt. SwiftEscape will investigate and resolve promptly.

SERVICE GUARANTEE POLICY

SwiftEscape strives to provide exceptional, seamless travel experiences.
In the rare case of service disruption, we pledge to:

  • Communicate promptly with affected customers.
  • Liaise with partners for alternate arrangements.
  • Offer travel credits where applicable.

This policy does not cover disruptions beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, or provider cancellations).

DISRUPTION & FORCE MAJEURE POLICY

If a trip or service is disrupted due to events beyond SwiftEscape’s control (natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions:

  • We will assist in rebooking or provide travel credit options where possible.
  • Cash refunds may not apply unless supported by the supplier’s policy.
  • Customers are advised to purchase travel insurance for full protection.
